Car safety - help needed.
Hi all

My 6 year old grandson doesn't mind travelling in the car but if he has a meltdown, he is a positive danger.

He has a car seat but he manages to slide down and kick people in the front, or stretch forward and punch or pull hair. He also repeatedly undoes the buckle on his safety belt. If he can reach something to throw, he will aim it at me whilst I'm driving and if he can't find something, he will take his shoes off and throw them or even other items of clothing.

If someone sits with him in the back, they end up battered and bruised but at the moment its the only thing we can do.

What we need is a car seat which he cannot undo, cannot slide downwards in and cannot stretch forward in...any ideas?

Suggestions greatly appreciated, before we end up off the road.

Pam x

Re: Car safety - help needed.
I am not sure where you can get them i do know you can get harnesses that do up from behind the seat the person sits in then the harness comes up between the legs and over the head if that makes sense this makes it harder for them to escape and slide out. There are a few different harnesses available from what i have seen but sadly i can not suggest where to get them from.
