Chelation therapy
A kind of intervention that basically consists of a synthetic medicine that is administered to the autistic child, or person with heavy metal poisoning. The heavy metals then cling to the medicine and are excreted with the medicine.

If MMR causes Autism, then how was my friend Autistic when he never had it? He was born in 1980 and so couldn't have had a jab that wasn't introduced into Britain until 1988.

Research a bit more. One of the scientists who investigated the chemicals used in chelation, stated that they will bind to mercury in the air, thus counterproductively introducing mercury into the child's system.

However, the term is also used to advertise an alternative treatments that is expected to cure coronary disease, cancer, and other conditions. side effects of this therapy are Kidney damage, Skin peeling and blisters, Minor headache, chills, fever, fatigue, muscle aches etc..
