New to the group
My name is Liz and I am the mom to soon-to-be 10 yr old daughter, Tori, who has ASD/Down syndrome and a few more acronyms behind her name. I am VP of the local ASA group and on the Board of Directors for our local Down syndrome group.

We have 2 older daughters, one who will be 30 in March and the other who will be 24 in March. Tori will be 10 on Tuesday, 2/23.

RE: New to the group
Hi - I am Sandra and fairly new to all of this. I have got a 5 yr old boy going through the process of being diagnosed with Asperger Syndrom. Having a really difficult time understanding what life holds for us now. Everything just seems confusing, but we are hoping this will settle a little.

Just taking time to welcome you to The Autism Network. I have five children, four of whom have various and varied neuro/developmental/biological disorders co-morbid, including some within the Autism Spectrum. Two daughters and three sons, respectively, aged 17, 16, 13, nine and my youngest who turns six in May.

A pleasure to have you join the site!
