Subscription to the site

Ok all before i start i just want to state this is just an idea!

As you know i work fairly hard for the site and create many downloadable things i also have hosting costs and my time on top of this.

Now i love doing this and enjoy it but sometimes money does come in to it so i am thinking of maybe setting up a subscription to the site it will not be much maybe £5 for a year this may be for the whole site or just for the downloads i have created and future ones i create i am not sure yet.

Maybe even have it so you can use most of the site but have to subscribe to certain areas these are all just ideas and would love your feedback.

I obviously do not want this to stop people coming here or stop them from joining so all your thoughts on this would be great.

I'm not very good at finding my way round sites nor do I know much about computers but in my opinion asking for money would definitely not make it any easier.
Am I right in thinking that most sites make money by advertising on them.
Could you not do something along that line?
I'd jump at the chance to advertise my children's murder mystery with you. Let me know if it's possible.

I think advertising would be a good idea.
I can see you work hard with this site and I know you have some overheads. You could do a subscription for some of the downloads but I think that would create even more work for you.

You could also apply for a grant, especially if you ran other services/support
