RE: what made you happy today.
Life at the best of times in my AD/HD, ASD household is nothing short of chaotic. I am happy for a few recent things and just wanted to share! My youngest son is finally receiving speech therapy (Yay!) He also is a child with many sensory isues and refuses to wear winter jackets. This year for Christmas I got him a new jacket... and he's worn it every day since. (This was a huge thing as last year he refused to wear anything but two sweaters) I'm still working on getting him to use ski pants and a hat/scarf, but he even likes the furry lining in the hood! I'm also happy to report that although I don't get respite, I do get a helper who comes into the home for four hours, four days a week, as well as one worker that works as my "second hand" one evening a week.☻

RE: what made you happy today.
This post really has made me count my blessings! Thank you for sharing!

I think the loud band and large crowd might have something to do with the acting out . However, this Sunday, our neighbours arrived at church too and their son of 4 took my little one by the hand and there they walked all the way to the children's service without looking back... it felt for a moment as if my baby was starting to climb the "growing-up" ladder. What a warm-hearted feeling!

RE: what made you happy today.
What made me happy today was finaly getting around to sorting out Josh's pecs board, been meaning to do it for some time.
He is not reliant on pecs but at times when he is not sure what is happening they help, so finaly got around to getting it up and finishing doing the pecs. ![]() ![]()

sorting out friendship issues without any help, it may sund like something small. but when you have aspergers it really is quite difficult to do without the help of an adult/parent
