Re: any tips to help my son understand shaving?
Paul,I too will be facing that challenge. In 6to8 years. My son is afraid of buzzing noises.Taking him to get a hair cut is very difficult he screams his dad has to hold him down in the chair we end up giving him a military marine haircut because it lasts a while and we dont have to go through it again for five months.Iam wondering thou in your case if a electric razor will help Iam looking into the future and I see my son with a rather long beard. But then maybe not he is making progress in loud sounds very slowly. We will have to wait and see.His dad is a biker and has a beard but he keeps it trimed.I pray every day for my son to help him get more understanding of lifes challenges, most of all I pray for myself I need to understand my son even when its difficult to do so.Good luck.as you are well aware we all need it.I have been searing other ays to get in touch with families with autistic children and so far I havent been too sucsessful at getting a response from anybody who would be interested in a pen-pal who we can talk about the challenges and the many hooray!!moments that come along too.So if you or any one else who reads this response e-mail me at jandysmommy@web-room.net thanks.
