Hi All,
I'm Jayne and iI Live in Suffolk UK. I have 3 boys, the eldest (11) has aspergers, well at least that is what we have been told ( Long story) He is now going through multi disciplinary to get an actual diagnosis, so we can access all the help at school and through social care. We were told he has aspergers after we went through getting a statement when he started school at 5, the community pead said that he had aspergers but we have now been told that he has to go through this diagnosis as one doctor alone can't make the diagnosis (Ahhhh wish someone had told me that 7 years ago!!!!)
But at the moment we seem to be going backwards, all the progress we have made over the last couple of years seems to have dissapeared and we are having to go back to basics and start again, He has been through a family trauma ( my ex husband and I split and got divorced and I met my new partner who has moved in with us) and I think this is what has caused the shift backwards.
So thats why I'm here to try and get some ideas and pointers as to how i can get him moving forward again
Sorry for the essay, hope to speak to you all soon
Jayne xx
